Engagement Photos in Pointe-Claire Village
For the second part of their engagement photo session, this cute couple brought me to one of their favourite haunts: the Pointe-Claire Village.
Melanie and Jonathan like this neighbourhood because of its quaint shops and restaurants (hello, artisanal popcorn!) and because of its beautiful waterfront park.
After the first part of their engagement photos in an industrial urban part of Montreal, it was nice to be out in nature.
While Melanie and Jonathan explored the park, I took a mix of posed and candid engagement photos. They threw autumn leaves, tried to feed the ducks, clambered on the rocks along the river’s edge and played on the swings.
Pointe-Claire windmill
Finally, Melanie and Jonathan also wanted to take engagement photos near the Pointe-Claire windmill. This ancient windmill is the oldest on the island of Montreal. According to Wikipedia, it was built in 1710. That’s over 200 years old! Impressive!
Hope you enjoy this chilly fall engagement photo session!
